We faced a couple of challenges protecting our business partner’s best interests, discharging a full cargo of wheat in bulk in Nouakchott.
The dockworkers were on strike, luckily the union and the port authorities reached an agreement the day before our good lady arrived, however, the strike generated congestion which we in the end managed to assist our business partner to dodge. The vessel berthed on arrival.
Furthermore, the internet service - not only in Nouakchott, but in all of Mauritania - was cut off for 4 days i.e. from 19th to 22nd September, due to the organisation of the baccalaureate exams. However, we still managed to keep our business partner fully up to date.

Challenges are inevitable and can not be avoided. How you handle the challenges makes the difference.
Ultimately, protecting your best interest is in our best interest.
